HMRC gives approval for Hunter Grange Investments Ltd to issue shares with EIS tax relief

We are delighted to announce that HMRC has given approval to Hunter Grange Investments Ltd  as an EIS qualifying company.

After assessing our business plan and EIS application they have authorised us to issue certificates for EIS tax relief when we sell shares to individual shareholders.

This means we can sell shares to individuals and the HMRC scheme will give tax saving benefits to shareholders to reduce the risk of buying shares in an early stage company.

We are allowed to start to issue these shares at the end of April when we will have been trading for four months.

Our first share issue will be offered to our pledgers, the people who have pledged a loan to support our community investment fund.  Priority will be given to investors who are residents in the PL24 postcode area.

We are writing to all our pledgers to offer them the opportunity to become our shareholders, then we will notify the wider community and update this website with further information.

We have written a summary about the scheme below to give you an overview of the tax benefits.  More detailed information can be found on the HMRC website.

If you would like to ask us a question about our plans to issue shares to individuals, please do get in touch.

Trudy Thompson or Josh Taylor.
